The UK will be the host for this year’s EFCEM General Assembly which will be held on 26th-28th June 2003 at the Welcombe Hotel Stratford. There will be a technical meeting at 2.00pm on Thursday 26th followed by the general assembly on Friday 27th which is followed by a medieval

banquet at Warwick Castle. Full details and booking form will be circulated please put this date in your diary as this an excellent networking opportunity to meet with catering equipment manufacturers and importers from around Europe. Given the extensive work now going on with the waste electrical and electronic directive (WEEE) and the anticipated energy using products (EUP) directive EFCEM has agreed to use the services of Orgalime to provide product sector representation on this and other issues.
